The Jena Giants felled the host Marksville Tigers football team by a score of 36-13 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Giants play the Vidalia Vikings (Vidalia, LA) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Jena will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 46-20 league loss to Buckeye (Buckeye, LA).

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Spartans go into the 3A District 2 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Caldwell Parish was dropped by Bunkie (Bunkie, LA), 52-0, in a league challenge.
