The John Marshall Monarchs felled the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado football team by a score of 42-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Monarchs play the Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV) in a Two Rivers challenge, on Thursday, October 17. John Marshall will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bruins go into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 42-0 non-league loss to Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV).

The Golden Tornado (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Allegany (Cumberland, MD). The Campers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Allegany toppled Southern (Oakland, MD), 51-14, in a league challenge.
