The Lincoln Lynx football team (Council Bluffs, IA), was crushed 56-7 in Friday's league bout with the host Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA)

With the win, Johnston advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to encounter the J-Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, October 18. The J-Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Urbandale lost 49-28 in their recent league bout against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA)
