The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights (Tuscaloosa, AL) and the visiting Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL), witnessed Tuscaloosa Academy's football squad topple Lamar County by a tally of 35-7.

The Knights (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sulligent (Sulligent, AL). The Blue Devils enter the 2A Region 5 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Sulligent thwarted Lamar County (Vernon, AL), 42-12, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Aliceville Yellowjackets (Aliceville, AL) in a 2A Region 5 outing, on Friday, October 18. Lamar County will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 30-14 league loss to Vincent (Vincent, AL).
