The Lapwai Wildcats walloped the host Troy Trojans football team by a score of 54-12 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Clearwater Valley Rams (Kooskia, ID) in a 2A White Pine (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 18. Lapwai will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 36-12 non-league loss to Grace (Grace, ID).
The Trojans (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Prairie (Cottonwood, ID). The Pirates go into the 2A Central Idaho (8 Man) challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Prairie bounced Potlatch (Potlatch, ID), 46-32, in a league challenge.
