Noble & Greenough Bulldogs (Dedham, MA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Lawrence Academy Spartans (Groton, MA), 28-21 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Noble & Greenough improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Groton School (Groton, MA) to play the in a Independent School ISL-9 battle on Saturday, October 19. The go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Groton School lost 7-0 in their recent league battle against St. George's (Middletown, RI)

The Spartans now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Governor's Academy for a Independent School ISL-7 battle on Friday, October 18. Lawrence Academy will play a Governors team coming off a 39-7 league win over Milton Academy (Milton, MA). The Governors record now stands at 3-1.
