Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL), 21-10 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Richards improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL) to play the Mustangs in a South Suburban - Red battle on Friday, October 18. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Evergreen Park won 21-13 in their recent league battle against Reavis (Burbank, IL)

The Lemont HS now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Oak Forest for a South Suburban - Blue battle on Friday, October 18. Lemont will play a Bengals team coming off a 22-8 league win over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 5-2.
