Michigan High School Football - Lenawee Christian wallops Waldron

The Lenawee Christian Cougars football squad scored 62 points and limited the host Waldron Spartans to 16 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Concord for a Southern Central - White (8 Man) test on Friday, October 18. Lenawee Christian will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 60-32 non-league loss to Holgate (Holgate, OH). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Waldron drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Pittsford (Pittsford, MI) to meet the Wildcats in a Southern Central - Blue (8 Man) test on Friday, October 18. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 6-1. Pittsford won 42-14 in their recent league test against Camden-Frontier (Camden, MI)
