The Middletown South Eagles got by the host Long Branch Green Wave football team by a score of 21-14 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Red Bank Catholic Caseys (Red Bank, NJ) in a Shore - A North challenge, on Friday, October 25. Middletown South will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
The Green Wave (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Bucs go into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Red Bank Regional was edged by Middletown North (Middletown, NJ), 33-7, in a league challenge.
