Lowell Devils (Lowell, OR) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR), 60-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lowell advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Devils travel to Rogue River (Rogue River, OR) to play the Chieftains in a 2A Special District 5 (9 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. The Chieftains go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Rogue River lost 46-7 in their recent league battle against Glide (Glide, OR)
The Tigers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Grant Union for a 2A Special District 6 (9 Man) battle on Friday, October 11. Stanfield will play a Prospectors team coming off a 32-20 league win over Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Prospectors record now stands at 3-2.
