The Loyola Blakefield Dons felled the visiting St. Mary's Saints football team by a score of 27-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Dons face the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA A challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Loyola Blakefield will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Gaels go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 44-13 league loss to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD).
The Saints (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Cardinals go into the MIAA A challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Calvert Hall lost by McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD), 37-17, in a league challenge.
