Pennsylvania High School Football - Manheim Township smashes Reading

October 11, 2024: Reading, PA 19604

The Manheim Township Blue Streaks (Lancaster, PA) football trounced the host Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA), 54-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Blue Streaks now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Penn Manor for a Lancaster-Lebanon 1 outing on Friday, October 18. Manheim Township will clash with a Comets squad coming off a 58-0 league loss to Wilson (West Lawn, PA). The Comets record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Reading drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Red knights travel to Oxford (Oxford, PA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 5-3. Oxford won 17-14 in their recent non-league outing against Avon Grove (West Grove, PA)
