The Maple River Eagles walloped the host Sibley East Wolverines football team by a score of 47-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Maple River will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Chargers go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 27-12 league loss to Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN).
The Wolverines (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN). The Buccaneers go into the South - Central Blue challenge with a 0-7 record.
