Arizona High School Football - Maricopa triumphant over Nogales

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) and the host Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ), witnessed Maricopa's football squad wallop Nogales by a tally of 34-0.

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ). The Badgers come into the 5A Sonoran outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Tucson High Magnet School was overwhelmed by Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ), 30-27, in a league outing.

With the defeat, Nogales drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Apaches host Mountain View (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Mountain Lions in a 5A Sonoran outing on Friday, October 18. The Mountain Lions come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Mountain View won 37-13 in their recent league outing against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ)
