The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR) and the host Ozark Hillbillies (Ozark, AR), witnessed Mena's football team beat Ozark by a score of 35-18.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR) in a 4A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Mena will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 61-20 league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, AR).

The Hillbillies (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pottsville (Pottsville, AR). The Apaches enter the 4A Region 4 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Pottsville ran past Waldron (Waldron, AR), 61-20, in a league challenge.
