The Mount Sinai Mustangs were victorious over the host Port Jefferson Royals football team by a score of 42-14 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the John Glenn Knights (Elwood, NY) in a Section 11 Division IV challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Mount Sinai will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 47-0 league win over Hampton Bays (Hampton Bays, NY).
The Royals (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wyandanch (Wyandanch, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 11 Division IV challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Wyandanch lost by Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY), 42-6, in a league challenge.
