The Ontonagon Gladiators football team (Ontonagon, MI), was crushed 78-43 in Friday's league bout with the visiting North Central Jets (Powers, MI)

With the win, North Central advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Jets host Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] (Bessemer, MI) to encounter the Miners in a Great Lakes - West (8 Man) bout on Friday, October 18. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] won 29-12 in their recent league bout against Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI)

The Gladiators now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Forest Park for a Great Lakes - West (8 Man) bout on Friday, October 18. Ontonagon will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 58-8 league win over Wright (Ironwood, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 7-0.
