The Valier Panthers walloped the visiting North Toole County Refiners football team by a score of 40-8 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks (Chester, MT) in a C - North (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 18. Valier will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 56-20 league win over North Star (Rudyard, MT).
The Refiners (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Reed Point/Rapelje (Reed Point, MT). The Renegades enter the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Reed Point/Rapelje was ripped by Custer/Hysham/Melstone (Custer, MT), 42-6, in a league challenge.
