North Carolina High School Football - Northampton County smashes Rocky Mount Prep

The Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) football trounced the host Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars (Rocky Mount, NC), 50-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Jaguars now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Halifax for a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Friday, October 18. Northampton County will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 40-34 league win over North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Rocky Mount Prep drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to clash with the Guardians in a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. The Guardians come into the outing with a record of 3-4. Wake Prep Academy won 35-27 in their recent non-league outing against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC)
