Missouri High School Football - Sweet Springs tops Orrick

October 11, 2024: Orrick, MO 64077

The Sweet Springs Greyhounds football squad scored 52 points and limited the host Orrick Bearcats to 22 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Concordia for a Central Rivers (8 Man) test on Friday, October 18. Sweet Springs will meet a Fighting Orioles squad coming off a 54-6 league win over St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia, MO). The Fighting Orioles record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Orrick drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Santa Fe (Alma, MO) to meet the Chiefs in a Central Rivers (8 Man) test on Friday, October 18. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 2-6. Santa Fe won 65-22 in their recent league test against Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO)
