Louisiana High School Football - Ouachita Parish edged by Ruston

The Ruston Bearcats edged the host Ouachita Parish Lions football team by a score of 22-21 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Ruston will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 50-10 league win over Pineville (Pineville, LA).

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Rebels enter the 5A District 2 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, West Monroe was edged by Alexandria (Alexandria, LA), 45-35, in a league challenge.
