California High School Football - Rancho Christian nudges Poly

In Friday's league match, the host Rancho Christian Eagles football squad scored a close 42-36 victory over the Poly Bears.

The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Arlington (Riverside, CA). The Lions enter the Sunbelt match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Arlington was nudged by Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA), 28-21, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bears confront the Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA) in a Sunbelt match, on Friday, October 18. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 35-27 league loss to Hemet (Hemet, CA).
