The Tug Valley Panthers walloped the visiting River View Raiders football team by a score of 41-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV) in a Coalfield A challenge, on Friday, October 18. Tug Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Golden Knights enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 20-10 league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, WV).
The Raiders (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Generals enter the Coalfield A challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Montcalm bounced Phelps (Phelps, KY), 59-12, in a non-league challenge.
