Mississippi High School Football - Taylorsville falls to West Lauderdale

The West Lauderdale Knights felled the visiting Taylorsville Tartars football team by a score of 49-30 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights face the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) in a 4A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, October 18. West Lauderdale will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 34-28 league loss to Leake Central (Carthage, MS).
The Tartars (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Stringer (Stringer, MS). The Red Devils go into the 1A Region 7 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Stringer toppled Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS), 46-18, in a non-league challenge.
