Louisiana High School Football - West St. John defeats Varnado

October 11, 2024: Angie, LA 70426

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA) and the host Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), witnessed West St. John's football squad topple Varnado by a count of 22-6.

The Rams (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Rebels enter the 1A District 10 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Riverside Academy thwarted St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA), 76-37, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 17. Varnado will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Redhawks enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 49-23 non-league win over Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA).
