The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY) and the visiting DuBois Academy (Louisville, KY), witnessed Washington County's football squad edge DuBois Academy by a tally of 6-0.
The Commanders (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Knox (Fort Knox, KY). The Eagles enter the 2A District 4 contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Fort Knox was nudged by Shawnee (Louisville, KY), 31-20, in a league contest.
