Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY), 7-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Schalmont advances its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 11-0. Beekmantown won 3-1 in their recent league test against Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY)

The Bears now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Salle Institute for a Colonial Council test on Tuesday, October 15. Albany Academy for Girls will clash with a Cadets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 4-6.
