New Mexico High School Soccer - Highland nudges Atrisco Heritage Academy

In Friday's non-league outing, the host Highland Hornets soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars.
The Hornets (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the 4A District 5 outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Belen was edged by St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM), 9-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Jaguars play the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 5 outing, on Wednesday, October 16. Atrisco Heritage Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 7-7 record after their 10-0 league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
