In Friday's league outing, the host Germantown Clippers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Taconic Hills Titans.

The Clippers (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Watervliet (Watervliet, NY). The Cannoneers go into the Patroon outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Watervliet was edged by Chatham (Chatham, NY), 8-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Titans play the Catskill Cats (Catskill, NY) in a Patroon outing, on Wednesday, October 16. Taconic Hills will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Cats go into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, NY).
