The Lake-Lehman Knights bounced the visiting Pittston Patriots soccer squad by a score of 9-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Knights (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Trojans go into the Wyoming Valley 2 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Greater Nanticoke Area prevailed over Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 outing, on Monday, October 14. Pittston will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 10-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA).
