The Lowry Buckaroos were victorious over the visiting Fernley Vaqueros football team by a score of 28-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Buckaroos face the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Lowry will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 48-0 non-league win over Sparks (Sparks, NV).

The Vaqueros (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Spartans enter the challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Spring Creek lost by Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 36-8, in a league challenge.
