Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA), 36-22 in a league battle.
With the win, Palo Verde Valley improves its record to 1-1 on the season.
The Scots now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Holtville for a battle on Friday, October 18. Vincent Memorial will play a Vikings team coming off a 36-21 non-league win over Coronado (Coronado, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
