Fans at Friday's league battle between the Stoughton Black Knights (Stoughton, MA) and the visiting Attleboro Bombardiers (Attleboro, MA), saw Stoughton's soccer squad hold off Attleboro by a count of 1-0.

The Black Knights (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA). The Rocketeers enter the Hockomock battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, North Attleborough Sharon (Sharon, MA), 2-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bombardiers battle the Taunton Tigers (Taunton, MA) in a Hockomock battle, on Wednesday, October 16. Attleboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 2-10 record after their 7-0 league loss to Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA).
