In Friday's non-league outing, the host St. Rose Purple Roses soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Donovan Catholic Griffins.

The Purple Roses (1-10) will now prepare for their outing against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Monmouth Regional by Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Griffins play the Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 12. Donovan Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Redbirds go into the outing with a 2-11 record after their 1-0 league loss to Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ).
