Georgia High School Softball - Greenbrier held off by South Effingham

In Friday's league test, the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) softball squad got by the visiting Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA), by a tally of 9-8.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 11. South Effingham will attempt to advance on its 20-5 season record. The Rebels go into the test with a 17-2 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, GA).
The Wolfpack (20-6) will now prepare for their test against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Terrors go into the non-league test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Glynn Academy held off Evans (Evans, GA), 10-0, in a non-league test.
