In Friday's non-league match, the host Ozark Tigers softball team scored a tight 7-1 win over the Timberland T-Wolves.
The Tigers (20-10) will now prepare for their match against Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO). The Statesmen come into the non-league match with a 12-20 record. In their last match, Webster Groves was routed by Carthage (Carthage, MO), 10-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the T-Wolves battle the Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 12. Timberland will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Jays enter the contest with a 16-12 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Nixa (Nixa, MO).
