New York High School Volleyball - Wellsville tips Avon

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Wellsville Lions volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Avon Braves.
The Lions (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bolivar-Richburg (Bolivar, NY). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Bolivar-Richburg was tipped by Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Braves meet the Le Roy Oatkan Knights (Le Roy, NY) in a Section 5 Livingston County II challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Avon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Oatkan Knights enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, NY).
