Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Robertsdale Golden Bears (Robertsdale, AL) and the visiting Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL), observed Robertsdale's volleyball team top Jasper by a count of 2-0.

The Golden Bears (10-22) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Buccaneers enter the non-league contest with a 31-7 record. In their last contest, Hoover was knocked off by Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings battle the Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 11. Jasper will attempt to move on its 27-19 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 14-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Shelby County (Columbiana, AL).
