California High School Volleyball - Palm Desert can't hold off La Jolla

In Friday's non-league match, the La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA), by a final score of 2-1.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 12. La Jolla will attempt to advance on its 6-13 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 24-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA).

The Aztecs (17-9) will now prepare for their match against El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Gauchos enter the non-league match with a 20-7 record. In their last match, El Capitan held off Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA), 3-0, in a league match.
