California High School Volleyball - Westview over Pacific Ridge

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA), observed Westview's volleyball team top Pacific Ridge by a count of 2-0.

The Wolverines (22-9) will now prepare for their contest against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Otay Ranch notched a victory over Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Firebirds battle the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 11. Pacific Ridge will attempt to move on its 18-13 season record. The Red Tailed Hawks enter the contest with a 18-6 record after their 3-0 league win over San Marin (Novato, CA).
