The Commack Cougars football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Copiague Eagles to 29 in the Cougars league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Babylon for a Section 11 Division II challenge on Saturday, October 18. Commack will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 37-35 league loss to East Islip (Islip Terrace, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellport (Brookhaven, NY). The Clippers enter the Section 11 Division II outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Bellport was nipped by Half Hollow Hills East (Dix Hills, NY), 23-13, in a league outing.
