In Saturday's league battle, the host East Hampton-Bridgehampton-Pierson Bonackers football squad scored a good 27-7 triumph over the Westhampton Beach Hurricanes.

The Bonackers (4-1) will now prepare for their match against West Islip (West Islip, NY). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, West Islip defeated Rocky Point (Rocky Point, NY), 23-12, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Hurricanes meet the Sayville Golden Flashes (Sayville, NY) in a Section 11 Division III challenge, on Saturday, October 18. Westhampton Beach will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Golden Flashes go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 30-21 league win over Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY).
