The Menaul Panthers football team (Albuquerque, NM), was crushed 42-0 in Saturday's league bout with the visiting Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM)

With the victory, Escalante betters its record to 6-2 on the year. The Lobos host Clayton (Clayton, NM) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) contest on Friday, October 17. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a record of 2-5. Clayton lost 58-8 in their recent league contest against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM)

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Questa Wildcats (Questa, NM) in a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) bout, on Saturday, October 18. Menaul will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 68-14 league win over Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM).
