The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Mark's Lions (Southborough, MA) and the visiting Governor's Academy Governors (Byfield, MA), witnessed St. Mark's's football squad knock off Governor's Academy by a tally of 35-14.

The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against St. George's (Middletown, RI). The Dragons go into the Independent School ISL-9 bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, St. George's dropped by Thayer Academy (Braintree, MA), 21-0, in a non-league bout.

The Governors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Thayer Academy for a Independent School ISL-7 bout on Saturday, October 18. Governor's Academy will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 21-0 non-league win over St. George's (Middletown, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
