New York High School Football - Lynbrook tops Island Trees

The Lynbrook Owls football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Island Trees Bulldogs to 14 in the Owls non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Owls now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seaford for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 18. Lynbrook will face a Vikings team coming off a 42-6 league win over Malverne (Malverne, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 5-0.
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Carle Place (Carle Place, NY). The Frogs enter the Section 8 Conference IV challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Carle Place topped North Shore (Glen Head, NY), 35-0, in a league test.
