Delaware High School Football - Middletown trounces William Penn

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Middletown Cavaliers football squad scored a decisive 42-0 victory over the William Penn Colonials.
The Cavaliers (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Caravel Academy (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Caravel Academy was crushed by Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE), 17-14, in a league battle.
The Colonials now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Hodgson Vo-Tech for a 3A District 1 match on Saturday, October 18. William Penn will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 47-0 league loss to Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
