The Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ) football were winner over the visiting Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ), 27-10 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Scarlet Fliers face the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 17. Neptune will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Bengals enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 21-14 league loss to Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ).
The Spartans (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Colts Neck fell by Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ), 35-21, in a non-league game.
