New Jersey High School Football - Nottingham thwarted by Princeton

Princeton Tigers (Princeton, NJ) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Nottingham Northstars (Hamilton, NJ), 20-7 in a non-league test.
The Tigers now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trenton Central for a West Jersey - Valley test on Friday, October 17. Princeton will meet a Tornadoes squad coming off a 28-22 non-league win over Northern Burlington (Columbus, NJ). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Nottingham drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Northstars travel to Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ) to play the Irish in a West Jersey - Capitol challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Irish go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Notre Dame lost 27-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ)
