Maine High School Football - Oceanside thwarted by Oak Hill

Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME), 28-14 in a non-league battle.
With the triumph, Oak Hill upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 17. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 6-0. John Bapst Memorial won 54-22 in their recent league challenge against Belfast (Belfast, ME)
The Mariners (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers go into the C North test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Medomak Valley knocked off York (York, ME), 40-14, in a league test.
