The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) and the host Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ), witnessed Morris Knolls's football squad knock off Clifton by a tally of 28-8.

The Golden Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Colonials enter the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Morristown dropped by Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ), 30-6, in a non-league bout.

The Mustangs now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Passaic County Tech for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 18. Clifton will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
